the manual was confusing as hell since it appears john deere kept modifying this model 80 loader with different parts. I have two model 80’s- one was on my j.d. 950 and the other was on my j.d. 970. Serial numbers on the model 80’a is the only thing that tipped me off as to which model 80 was to be re-installed on which of the two tractors i have.
